Participation of local businesspeople in major exhibitions encouraged

Manama, Dec. 30 (BNA): The Promotion, Exhibition & Conferences sector committee of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) has held its regular meeting headed by board member and committee head, Ahlam Janahi, in the Chamber’s premises Bait Al Tijjar. The meeting deliberated the committee’s Action Plan2016, which emphasizes invigorating the sector by hosting specialized training sessions, encouraging local business owners to get involved in major exhibitions and conferences, and intensifying the committee’s participation in regional and international events. The committee also discussed coordinating with the Bahraini-Moroccan Joint Business Council in organizing exhibitions in Bahrain, and the draft of the committee’s promotional brochure.
