Cloudy, rainy weather expected

Manama, Dec. 25 (BNA): An official source at the Meteorological Directorate at the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications forecast a cloudy and rainy weather with probable thundery showers and cold strong northwesterly winds until tomorrow morning. In a statement to the Bahrain News Agency (BNA), the same source said the kingdom recorded 10 mm of rain this morning, urging sea farers and drivers to be cautious. The source forecast a clear and cold weather over the coming days. It is to be noted that the Meteorological Directorate at the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications forecast this morning a cloudy weather, with probable thundery rain and strong winds. Today’s bulletin also indicated that northwesterly winds will range from 15 to 20 knots, reaching 20 to 25 knots at times and may increase to the range of 35 knots during gusts. It expected maximum temperature to reach 19 degrees Celsius and minimum 15 degrees Celsius, Sea waves will rise from 2 to 3 feet inshore and from 4 to 7 feet offshore, the bulletin said.
