Bahrain-US relations reviewed

Manama, Dec. 24 (BNA): Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa received at the Royal Bahrain Naval Force (RBNF) today the Commander of the US Naval Forces Central Command and Commander of the Fifth Fleet Vice Admiral Kevin M. Donegan. The commander-in-Chief reviewed with Vice Admiral Donegan the existing Bahraini-US friendship and cooperation relations, and ways to bolster them in all fields, especially regarding joint military coordination and defence cooperation. They also discussed issued of mutual concern. BDF Chief of Staff Lieutenant-General Dheyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi and a number of senior BDF officers attended.
