308,385 people entered Bahrain on December 17-23

Manama, Dec. 24 (BNA): The Assistant Undersecretary for Ports, Search and Follow-up at the General Directorate of Nationality, Passports & Residence (GDNPR) said 308,385 people had entered Bahrain between December 17 and 23. He added that 248,863 arrived from Saudi Arabia and other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries via King Fahad Causeway, 59163 through Bahrain International Airport and 359 through ports.
The 25-kilometre long King Fahad Causeway, the terrestrial link between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, was opened on November 26, 1986. It has been used by millions of travelers and vehicles, making it one of the busiest traffic areas in the Arab world.
The GCC comprises Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates and Oman.
