Prime Minister Meets Chinese President in Beijing

BAGHDAD / NINA/ Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi and his entourage held talks with Chinese President Xi Jin Ping, in Beijing. Defense Ministry said in a statement today, "Defense Minister Khaled al-Obeidi, attended the talks, which is the first between the Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi and Chinese President, and included discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of developing them." Abadi arrived in Beijing this morning on an official visit to China for several days, and he is scheduled to sign a number of joint agreements to promote cooperation between the two countries.
