HM King's support to RCO hailed

Manama, Dec. 21 (BNA): HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Royal Charity Organisation Board of Directors valued the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa the Honorary President of the organisation, for his limitless support to the humanitarian and charity works and activities of the Royal Charity Organisation. HH Shaikh Nasser appreciated His Majesty the King’s care and patronage of the developing projects of charity resources which is considered as an important part the strategic planning of the organisation and contribute in achieving the vision of the Kingdom of Bahrain 2030. This was highlighted during the meeting of the board members of the Royal Charity Organisation on Monday. HH Shaikh Nasser appreciated the support received by the organisation from the Government; following the leadership of HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister and the care of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister. He commended on the efforts of the board members of the organisation in verbalising the directives of His Majesty the King to provide the necessary care and support to the needy people under the care of the organisation in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the other countries in the region and across the world. HH Shaikh Nasser asserted that following the directives of His Majesty the King to follow strategies that isolate the funding of charity works from the current international economic crisis by creating independent sources of income, the organisation is implementing the investment towers project in Sanabis area and other projects, aiming to develop the financial resources of the organisation to benefit the needy people under its care and its humanitarian initiatives. In this regard, he underlined the importance of cooperation and coordination between the civil community and private sector to support the projects of the organisation. The General Secretary of the Royal Charity Organisation Dr. Mustafa Al Sayed briefed HH Shaikh Nasser and the board members about the accomplishments of the organisation in the year 2015, reviewing the services and assistance provided by the organisation on all aspects, including financial, healthcare, educational, social, developmental and relief support. The board members valued the Royal Directives of his Majesty the King, the patronage of HH Shaikh Nasser and the support of the government led by HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister and HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister.
