Foreign minister receives Colombian ambassador's credentials copy

Manama, Dec. 21 (BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa received Faihan Al Fayez Chaljub, who presented a copy of his credentials as Abu-Dhabi-based Ambassador of the Republic of Colombia to the Kingdom of Bahrain The minister welcomed the Colombian Ambassador, hailing the remarkable progress of relations between Bahrain and Colombia and wishing him every success in his new mission for the benefit of the two friendly countries. Chaljub lauded the progress and development witnessed by Bahrain in all fields, noting that he would do his best, in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to give a boost to bilateral ties to serve the common interests of the two friendly peoples. The meeting touched on a number of topics of common concern and looked into ways of underpinning ties between the two countries and peoples.
