Bahraini-Indian youth relations stressed

Manama, Dec 20 (BNA): Director of Youth Affairs at the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs, Iman Faisal Janahi, has received an Indian delegation from the Ministry of Youth and Sports in the framework of activating the cooperation memorandum of understanding on enhancing youth and sports relations between the two countries. The Indian delegation consists of 18 young men and women from different regions of India. Janahi stressed the importance of youth meetings that highlight their successful experiences and learning about the development and historical achievements of countries. She pointed out Bahrain's support for national events and programmes aimed at uplifting the youth movement and accentuating their achievements over the past years. The Indian delegation praised Bahrain's endeavour to achieve sustainable development and promoting the youth sector among other ones, underlining the importance of boosting bilateral youth relations. The delegation attended the National Day celebration ceremony held at the Cultural Hall. It was also taken on a guided tour of Bahrain National Museum and the Little India project in Bab Al Bahrain, as well as Bahrain Fort.
