Outstanding private sector workers, establishments to be honoured

Manama, Dec. 19 (BNA): Under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Labour and Social Development Ministry will tomorrow hold the 31st ceremony to honour outstanding private sector employees and establishments. 129 employees, entrepreneurs, administrators and establishments who have made outstanding efforts in various economic sectors will be honoured. The honouree list will include prominent entrepreneurs, administrators participating in the programme to rehabilitate and employ national job-seekers, outstanding administrators, entrepreneur with small and medium enterprises, workers with special needs, distinguished establishments, and outstanding establishments in the field of improving salaries of national employees. The list also covers honourees representing the sectors of oil and gas, manufacturing industries, transportation and stores, banking, finance and insurance, contracting sector, trade, hospitality -restaurants and hotels- and social activities. Workers in new professions that appeal to the national manpower and six non-organised economy workers will also honoured.
