Bahrain embassy in UAE marks National and Accession Days

Abu Dhabi, Dec. 16 (BNA): Bahraini Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates Mohammed bin Hamad Saqr Al Maawda hosted a reception ceremony to mark the National Day and the Anniversary of the accession of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Kalifa to the throne. The ceremony, held at the St. Regis Hotel in Abu Dhabi, was attended by Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development Shaikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Trade Shaikha Lubna Khalid Al Qasimi, Deputy Minister of Presidential Affairs Ahmed Juma Al Zaabi and Advisor to the UAE President for Religious Affairs Shaikh Ali Al Hashimi. The ceremony was also attended by president of the Handball Federation and Chairman of Al Ain Sports and Cultural Club Shaikh Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Assistant Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Ambassador Dr. Tariq Ahmed Al Haidan, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mohammed Meer Abdullah Al Raeesi and President of the National Federal Council Dr. Amal Abdullah Al Qubaisi. A number of officials and heads of foreign diplomatic missions accredited to the United Arab Emirates and members of the Bahraini community living in the UAE were also present. They attendees expressed their sincere wishes to Bahrain of further progress under the wise leadership of His Majesty the King and continued prosperity to the people of Bahrain.
