Defence Minister receives US Defence Secretary

Manama, Dec.15 (BNA): Defence Affairs Minister Lieutenant-General Youssef bin Ahmed Al-Jalahma received this evening US Defence Secretary Ashton Carter on his arrival at Bahrain International Airport. He welcomed the US Defence Secretary and the accompanying delegation. The two sides discussed joint cooperation and coordination bonding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States. Lt-Gen Al-Jalahma hailed deep-rooted relations between the two friendly countries. Issues of mutual interest were also discussed. The meeting was attended by Inspector General Major-General Abdulla Hassan Al-Nuaimi and other senior BDF officers.
