HM King holds call with Saudi monarch

Manama, Dec. 15 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa held a telephone call with Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and discussed with him distinguished strong historic fraternal relations between both countries and peoples as well as the latest regional developments. HM the King lauded the formation of an Islamic military coalition led by Saudi Arabia to combat terrorism as well as the setting up of a joint operation centre to coordinate military operations. He stressed that Bahrain is one of the first countries to participate in the coalition out of belief in the need for cooperation to fight terrorism and defend pending issues. HM the King underscored the pioneering role of Saudi Arabia in tackling regional and international issues and combating terrorism.
