Steps to streamline trade movement developed
Manama, Dec 13 (BNA): Customs' Clearance and Inspection Director-General Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al-Khalifa has chaired meeting with the participation of 16 representatives from relevant authorities.
He underlined the Customs Affairs' keenness to facilitate customs procedures at the customs ports in cooperation with the regulatory authorities, which will contribute to increase the economic growth and national income .
The meeting discussed performance constraints and procedures being implemented in accordance with the customs affairs strategy.
A number of recommendations on the work of regulatory authorities at customs ports were developed to further streamlining the flow of goods through border points, which will promote Bahrain's standing at the regional and international level in the field of customs.
