Bahrain, Japanese cooperation hailed

Manama, Dec.9 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa deputised his advisor His Highness Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa to attend a reception ceremony marking the 82nd birthday of Japanese Emperor Akihito. Japanese Ambassador to Bahrain Kiyoshi Asako hosted the ceremony at the Ritz Carlton Bahrain Hotel and Spa in the presence of senior officials, members of the diplomatic corps and guests. HH Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa conveyed greetings and congratulations from HRH the Premier, wishing the Japanese monarch health and happiness and his friendly people further progress and prosperity. HH Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa hailed strong bilateral relations bonding Bahrain and Japan, stressing the two countries' keenness on expanding cooperation for the sake of their joint interests. The Japanese envoy extended thanks and appreciation to HRH the Premier, hailing his support and dedicated efforts to bolster bilateral relations. He reiterated his country's keen interest to strengthen joint cooperation with the Kingdom of Bahrain.
