HM the King decorates BDF personnel

Manama, Dec 8 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, today at Sakhir Palace, received a number of BDF officers and soldiers who returned home after carrying out their national duty in Yemen within the Arab Coalition. HM the King's Personal Representative HH Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa and the Royal Guard Commander Brig. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa were also present. HM the King decorated the BDF officers and soldiers in recognition of their heroic roles in executing their national duty shoulder to shoulder with their BDF brethren in arms. HM the King took pride in the BDF participation in Operation Decisive Storm and Operation Restoring Hope for the protection of the homeland and Arab nation. HM the king commended the efforts played by the UN Secretary-General Special Envoy for Yemen, Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, to reach a peaceful solution and to restore security and stability in Yemen. The Chief of Staff also attended.
