Bahrain's support for regional stability stressed

Manama, Dec 7 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received at Sakhir Palace Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff General Joseph Dunford and the accompanying delegation. HM the King hailed the robust relations between the two countries and the growing cooperation in various areas, mainly in the military and defence fields, as two allies and partners. HM the King stressed Bahrain's keenness to bolster bilateral relations and cooperation, based on mutual respect and coordination, to wider horizons in the interest of the two countries and their peoples. HM the King underlined Bahrain's support for regional and international attempts aimed at bolstering security and stability in the region, as well as international peacekeeping efforts. General Dunford paid tribute to the firm relations binding the two countries in all fields. The latest regional and international developments as well as topics of shared interest were discussed.
