78% increase in sold items in Jewellery Arabia 2015

Manama, Dec 2 (BNA): President of Customs Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa announced today that in according to the statistics of the General Director of Customs Clearance and Inspection, the Jewellery Arabia 2015 witnessed increase in imported exhibits that were worth BD536 million, with an increase by BD96 million, representing 22% than last year. He said that the event registered BD9.3 million of sold items, including BD3 million from local exhibitors, with an increase by BD1.4 million, representing 78% compared with last year. He attributed the success of the event that has been organized for the last 23 years to the directives and support of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa. (Courtesy of MoI)
