Bahrain to participate in Islamic Parliament conference

Manama, Dec 2 (BNA): Council of Representatives Speaker Ahmed Al-Mulla today received Iraq's Ambassador to Bahrain Ahmed Al-Dulaimi and stressed the deep-rooted relations binding the two countries. The Speaker underlined Bahrain's constant supportive stance towards maintaining security and stability in Iraq, attaching great importance to the Arab coordination to root out terrorism and dry up its resources. He said Bahrain welcomes strengthening relations with all Arab countries in accordance with the respect for the principles of national sovereignty, non-interference in the internal affairs of states and good neighborliness. He affirmed Bahrain's participation in the 11th Conference of Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) of the OIC Member States (Islamic Parliament) to be hosted by Baghdad in January.
