Medical career expo opens

Manama, Nov.29 (BNA): A career expo showcasing work opportunities in the medical sector opened today at the Ministry of Labour and Social Development Ministry on Isa Town. Labour and Social Development Minister Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan opened the three-day exhibition which will run until Tuesday. The expo attracted thirty-even private establishments which offered more than 400 vacancies in the medical and nursing sectors and other fields, offering qualified jobseekers rewarding salaries. In a statement on this occasion, Humaidan stressed the ministry's resolve to step up initiatives in coordination with employers and relevant directorates to enhance the rates of Bahrainisation. The minister toured different pavilions, met the exhibitors and jobseekers and heard their opinions remarks on employment procedures in the private sector medical establishments and other vital sectors that support the vital. The three-day expo will daily open from 8 AM until 1 PM at the ministry headquarters for jobseekers to submit their work applications. The ministry had already sent Short Text Messages (SMS) to jobseekers with adequate academic qualifications, urging them to report to the career expo and take stock of the work opportunities in the private medical enterprises.
