Gaza crisis, end of US hegemony, unipolr world: Jalili

Damascus, Jan 5, IRNA - Secretary of Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili said
that attack against the defenseless people in Gaza is the end of the
US hegemony and the unipolar world.

He made the remarks in a meeting with leaders of several Palestinian
groups which was held prior to his departure for Tehran.

Those who talk about democracy and human rights must give answer to
the world public opinion about their silence towards the war crimes
Israel perpetrated in Gaza, he added.

Underlining the need for Palestinians national solidarity against the
enemy?s attacks, Jalili said Tehran would continue with efforts to
help put an end to the current massacre of innocent people in Gaza
Strip.

Jalili, heading a political delegation, arrived in Damascus Friday
night to review the latest developments in the Palestinians lands with
senior Syrian officials.

He met and conferred with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and leaders
of several Palestinian groups in Syria on Saturday.

The Iranian delegation then proceeded to Lebanon where Jalili met with
Several officials of the country including the Leader of Lebanese
Hezbollah Seyed Hassan Nasrullah.

Jalili returned to Damascus Sunday evening to meet with another group
of leaders of Palestinian groups and parties as well as the Syrian
foreign minister.

He also attended a press conference on the Palestinian issues.

Jalili and his accompanying delegation arrived in Tehran Monday morning.
