Government support for IT sector hailed

Manama, Nov 25 (BNA): UAE Ambassador to Bahrain, Abdulridha Al-Khouri, praised the outstanding organization of the opening ceremony of the 4th GCC eGovernment Award, Conference and Exhibition 2015. The event is organized by the Informatics and eGovernment Authority and patronized by HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa. UAE Ambassador toured the associating exhibition and was briefed on the latest electronic services exhibited. He congratulated the winning parties who were awarded by Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalia. He hailed the Bahraini leadership's support for the development of IT sector and the government electronic system in the framework of the government's strategy for the promotion of sustainable development and providing best services for Bahraini citizens.
