Audi Volkswagen recalling 332 vehicles on production defects

SEOUL, Jan. 5 (Yonhap) -- Vehicle importer Audi Volkswagen Korea is recalling 332
sedans of Bentley Continental series due to several production defects, the
transportation ministry said Monday.

A salty road surface could erode the vehicles' fuel filters and cause oil
leakage, the Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs said in a
statement.
The dashboard light that warns drivers for not wearing seat belts also don't work
properly, according to the ministry.
Subject to the recalls are models produced and imported to the local markets
between Aug. 1, 2006 and July 16 of last year, according to the ministry.
The affected vehicles can get free repairs at the company's affiliated service
centers starting Tuesday.
