Bahrain attends road safety conference

Rio de Janeiro, Nov.24 (BNA): A delegation led by Traffic director-general Shaikh Nasser bin Abdulrahman Al-Khalifa took part in the Second Global High-Level Conference on Road Safety in Brazil. The two-day forum featured workshops which showcased best practices in traffic safety and strategies which aim to reduce the incidence of tragic road accidents. The Brazil Declaration was also launched on the sidelines of the conference, as a continuation to Moscow Declaration in 2009 on traffic safety. The delegation met the Brazilian Federal General Director Police and discussed cooperation and traffic operations management in major events.
