Labour minister receives Jordanian ambassador

Manama, Nov. 24 (BNA): Labour and Social Development Minister Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan received here today the Jordanian Ambassador to Bahrain Mohammed Ali Abdulhameed Siraj. They explored ways to bolster joint cooperation, benefit from both the countries' experiences in the labour field, strengthen social protection, unemployment insurance, enhance production, improve the youths' skills and rehabilitate them to be active in the labour market and develop community partnership and human resources services. The ambassador praised the deep-rooted bilateral relations and highlighted the joint cooperation and coordination in Arab and international gatherings. He presented a memorial shield to the minister from his Jordanian counterpart Nidal Katamine in honour of the advanced level of cooperation in the labour field and outstanding bilateral relations so as to meet the aspirations of both the countries and their people.
