UN delivers UAE relief to Gazans
Gaza, Jan 5,2009 (WAM) - The United Nations Development Programme and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) have commenced delivering relief supplies offered by UAE to the people of Gaza.
The UAE President, H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has instructed the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Charity Foundation to provide and distribute the humanitarian assistance through the two UN agencies. The assistance includes medical and food supplies.
