BBS Chairperson attends Arab meeting

Cairo, Nov.22 (BNA): The Arab Lawyers Union (ALU) coordination committees convened in Egypt last Saturday. Bahrain Bar Society (BBS) Chairperson Huda Al-Mehza presided over the meeting of the (ALU) Women's Committee. She stressed Bahraini women's landmark strides under the reform project, which was initiated by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa. She paid tribute to Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa, wife of HM the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) for her crucial role in empowering women who are now holding senior positions in Bahrain and the region. She hailed the role of Bahraini women in the judiciary, underscoring the importance of the reform project in providing them the opportunity to play an active role in their society and contribute to their country's development and progress.
