BBA's new secretary-general congratulated

Manama, Nov. 22 (BNA): Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) general secretary Abdulrahman Askar congratulated Mohammed Qasim after being elected new secretary-general of the Bahrain Basketball Association. During a meeting at the BOC premises , Askar greeted Qasim – who is one of the rising prominent Bahraini sports officials with experience at various sports organisations – and wished him success in his new task. Askar said the BOC would spare no effort to support the BBA, and stressed the need to implement certain plans that aim to develop basketball in the Kingdom. BOC Sports Affairs executive director Abdul-Jaleel Asad, who was also present at the meeting, offered some of his vast experience in the sport field by explaining the bylaws and regulations as well as some technical issues of the association.
