Energy Minister receives WVU's delegation

Manama, Nov. 22 (BNA): Energy Minister Dr. Abdul Hussain bin Ali Mirza received Royal University for Women (RUW)'s president Professor Mazen Mohammed Ali Jum'a who introduced to him West Virginia University (WVU)'s president, Professor E. Gordon Gee, and his accompanying delegation. The WVU delegation's visit comes as part of bilateral cooperation between the two universities, and to familiarise with the Kingdom's orientations in the field of oil, gas and energy aimed at boosting its national economy. The meeting explored possible cooperation and training opportunities in the field of the oil, gas and energy. The meeting was attended by the National Oil and Gas Authority (NOGA)'s Director-General of Strategies and Planning Directorate, Ali Abdel Jabbar Al-Sawaad; and, the Energy Minister's Advisor Abdul Hussain Monfaridi.
