66th conference of GCC health ministers council to be held in Yemen

RIYADH, Jan. 04 (Saba)- The 66th conference of the Health Ministers
Council of Gulf Cooperation Council will be held in Yemen during
the period from 3rd to 4th February in Sana'a capital.

It is scheduled that the meeting would discuss a detailed report on
activities of the council and follow up the decision and
recommendations of the previous meeting.

The director of the executive office for the council Tawfiq Khojah
told Saba that the agenda of the conference includes several issues
associated with the basic health care and evaluation for the
activities of the office and efforts of combating several diseases
like malaria and diabetes.

Khojah added that the conference would discuss budget of the office.

On the sideline of the conference, an exhibition for the health
publications of the office and member countries including Yemen
will be organized, he said.

On the other hand, Yemen will host a symposium over nursing in the
GCC countries during the period from 12th to 13th January under
slogan " Education, Human Resources of Nursing in Facing Challenges."

The symposium will be organized by the executive office of the GCC
health ministers council.AH
