Yemen, Oman discuss higher education cooperation

SANA'A, Jan. 04 (Saba)- Yemeni-Omani official talks were held on
Sunday -co-chaired by the Deputy Minister of Higher Education and
Scientific Researches Mohammed Mutahar and his Omani counterpart
Abdullah al-Sarami over the academic cooperation between the two
countries.

The talks focused on means of boosting academic cooperation between
the two countries and possibilities of signing cooperation
agreements in field of exchanging experiences in field of higher
education and insurance of quality of the education as required
fields of studies to dispatch students in both countries.

Mutahar affirmed importance of activating cooperation and enchaining
experiences between the two countries, reviewing development in
domain of higher education in Yemen during the previous period and
future plan of the ministry.

For his part, the Omani official said that the aim of the visit for
the Omani delegation was o discuss different issues associated with
the higher education cooperation between Yemen and Oman.

He expressed thanks for Yemeni universities which receive Omani
students.
