FM affirms importance for ending Israeli aggression on Palestinians

SANA'A, Jan. 04 (Saba) - Minister of Foreign Affairs Abu Bakr
al-Qirbi emphasized on Sunday the importance of acting with all
means to stop immediately the war waged by Israel against the
Palestinian people in Gaza Strip.

During his meeting with US Charge d'affaires in Yemen Angie Bryan,
the minister al-Qirbi confirmed the importance of U.S. support for a
UN resolution to put an end for the Israeli crimes on Palestinians,
indicating that the continuation of the aggression will not assist
the region's security and stability.

On the other hand, Foreign Minister al-Qirbi received an invitation
from his Italian Foreign Minister Massimo D'Alema to participate in
the ministerial meeting to discuss reform of the UN Security Council
to be held in Roma, the Italian Capital, on February 5th.

The Invitation was handed over to the minister by the Deputy Italian
ambassador to Yemen.
