Lalu Prasad to lecture on Indian Railways' success in Japan
Patna, Jan 4 (PTI) After enlightening students of Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, and Harvard University, India's Railway minister Lalu Prasad will give his mantra on the turnaround of Indian Railways to students in Japan.
Prasad will leave on January 11 on a 10-day trip on an
invitation from the Japan government, Rashtriya Janata Dal
(RJD) national spokesman and a close associate of the
minister, Shyam Rajak said.
"Apart from studying the functioning of the railways
there, Lalu Prasad will also deliver a few lectures at
universities in Japan, including one in Tokyo, on the
turnaround of Indian Railways," he said.
Prasad had brought the Railways out of a "mess during the
NDA regime" and had promised a profit of Rs one lakh crore in
the current fiscal, Rajak said. PTI US
