HRH Premier receives senior officials

Manama, Nov. 16 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister received the Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs (SCIA)'s Chairman HH Shaikh Abdullah bin Khalid Al Khalifa, Shura Council's Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, several members of the Council of Representatives (MPs) and Shura Council members, in the presence of former Speaker Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Dhahrani and senior officials in the Kingdom, who offered sincere condolences to His Royal Highness the Prime Minister over the late Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa the advisor of His Royal Highness the Premier for Industrial and Oil Affairs. His Royal Highness the Prime Minister has expressed gratitude and appreciation to the audience for their amicable sentiments, lauding the contributions of the late Shaikh Isa bin Ali in the Kingdom's national development process. His Royal Highness also lauded the single family spirit, cohesion and amity between all components of the Bahraini people. His Royal Highness asserted the importance of collective efforts to maintain the atmospheres of amity, co-existence for which Bahrain has always been known throughout the ages. His Royal Highness said we live in a world of turmoil, terrorism spread causes a state of general tension in its ambience, therefore, we should be alert and cautious and confront by lawful means anyone who wants to jeopardize national security and stability as security is the basis and we will not accept anyone who threatens the security of our citizens or their safety.
