INJAZ Bahrain, HSBC continue joint programme

Manama, Nov. 16 (BNA): For the eighth consecutive year, INJAZ Bahrain and HSBC are partnering to deliver the "More than Money" initiative, an innovative programme which equips Bahrain’s youths with the basic financial literacy skills they need to succeed in the 21st-century economy.
More than 13,299 young Bahraini students at the intermediate school levels have benefited from the programme over the past eight years, with an additional 1250 students are expected to benefit during the current academic year 2015-2016.
The programme was developed to provide the students with a better understanding of the relationship between what they learn at school and their successful participation in a worldwide economy through a variety of hands-on activities and technological supplements designed to support differentiated learning styles. It also encourages them to use creative thinking while developing and building positive attitudes towards basic money-management skills such as spending, saving, and earning money.
The joint initiative began in 2008 when HSBC Holdings teamed up with INJAZ Bahrain’s parent-organization Junior Achievement (JA) Worldwide to sponsor and implement "More than Money" programme around the world.
