UAE pays last respects to Sheikh Rashid Bin Ahmed Al Mualla
Abu Dhabi, Jan 4, 2009 (WAM) - The United Arab Emirates yesterday paid the last respects to the late Sheikh Rashid Bin Ahmed Al Mualla who passed away in London on Friday morning.
President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum led the huge gathering of mourners at the funeral which took place in Umm Al Qaiwain.
Their Highnesses Sheikh Khalifa, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid and Their Highnesses Members of the UAE Supreme Council, Rulers of the Emirates, crown princes, deputy rulers, a host sheikhs and dignitaries and UAE nationals and residents offered the funeral prayer for the deceased at the Grand Mosque in Umm Al Qaiwain. The late Sheikh Rashid Bin Ahmed Al Mualla was then interred at the Umm Al Qaiwain Cemetery.
