Shield of the Nation 7" drill to kick off tomorrow

Manama, Nov. 15 (BNA): Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) will carry out in many governorates tomorrow Monday (November 16) the "Shield of the Nation 7" drill with the participation of the National Guard and the Interior Ministry. " BDF is keen to hold such exercises for their key role in developing methods of boosting readiness and coordinating efforts with all participants in the drill. Many exercises will be performed to bolster combat and administrative readiness of the participating weaponries and units, hone military experiences and promote leadership concepts. The exercise, which will continue till November 18, also aims to train the participating forces in joint military action through coordination, planning and execution of joint defence operations. It is considered as an important drill to achieve the aspired professionalism in various military disciplines.
