CBB to organise WIFBS Conference

Manama, Nov. 15 (BNA): Under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of HM the King and Supreme Council of Women (SCW)'s President; the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) announced the participation of Denise Wilson and Cho L. Sun as inaugural speakers at the "Women in the Financial and Banking Sector (WIFBS)'s Conference", with participation of more than 250 female business executives on November 30. Non-Executive Director of Ecclesiastical Insurance Group, Denise Wilson chairs the Royal Academy of Arts Friends Board and is a member of the Royal Academy Audit Committee and also Chief Executive of the Davies Review. She said she was delighted to visit the Kingdom of Bahrain and participate in this conference which comes as part of our efforts to increase the number of women in big business sectors in the United Kingdom. In four years we have been able as part of our business leadership to double the number of working women in FTSE 350 boards of directors, she added. We have seen a drastic change in the culture of UK business community. I am looking forward to this conference to inform the attendants about our success story and experience over the past years in addition to presenting our visualizations for the future, she concluded.
