Foreign Ministry condemns Thai village bomb blast

Manama, Nov. 13 (BNA): The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has condemned the bomb blast that targeted a checkpoint in Khokpho village in the southern Thai province of Pattani that resulted in a number of deaths and injuries. The Ministry offered sincere condolences and consolation to the Kingdom of Thailand, the Thai people, and the families of the victims, wishing swift recovery for those injured as a result of this terrorism act. The Ministry reaffirmed Bahrain's support to Thailand’s efforts in consolidating security and stability across its territories, in countering terrorism and in combating violence and extremism in order to achieve the safety of the citizens and residents.
