FM receives Sri Lankan ambassador's credentials copy

Manama, Nov. 12 (BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, received today a copy of credentials of the newly-appointed Ambassador of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka to the Kingdom of Bahrain, A.Saj U.Mendis. The minister welcomed the Sri Lankan Ambassador and lauded the bilateral ties between the two friendly countries. He wished the ambassador success in his new assignment to boost the bilateral relations in all domains for the benefit of the two countries and their peoples. The ambassador commended Bahrain's strides of prosperity and progress in all fields. He affirmed his intention to exert every effort to bolster the bilateral relations and open new horizons in various fields.
