Yemen witnesses further protests against Israeli offensive in Gaza

SANA'A, Jan. 03 (Saba)- Some cities of the country witnessed on
Saturday demonstrations in solidarity with the Palestinians in Gaza
Strip.

In Socatra archipelago, thousands went to streets, protesting
against Israeli crimes in Gaza.

The director of the archipelago Sa'ad Ali Salmen urged on Arab
leaders to unify their efforts and forget their disputes to face
Israeli offensive against Palestinians in Gaza. He called on
citizens of the island to offer and support their brothers in Gaza.

Speeches in the protest criticized silence of Arab and Islamic
leaderships and the international community toward crimes of the
Zionist entity against the Palestinian people.

In Lahj and al-Baida governorates, hundreds of women went to
streets, condemning the current attacks of the Israeli occupation
against the Palestinians in Gaza.

They chanted slogans in which they announced their support for the
Palestinians and criticized the weak Arab position toward the
offensive against the Palestinians in Gaza.

The offensive entered its second week and killed at least 436
Palestinians and wounded more than 2290.AH
