104 businesses praised for sustainable development (correction)
Hanoi (VNA) - A total of 104 State-owned enterprises have been honoured as
businesses with sustainable development as they record high growth rates for years,
earn annual revenues of over 100 billion VND and pay taxes on time.
Award-winners include the National Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam), Agribank, Oil
Corporation, Paper Corporation and others.
A ceremony to grant the awards was held by the Ministry of Industry and Trade in
coordination with the Ho Chi Minh National Political and Administrative Academy
in Hanoi on Jan. 3.
At the inaugural event, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Le Danh Vinh said
the awards are aimed to encourage domestic businesses to improve their
competitiveness and contribute more to the country's economic development in the
