Commenting on the wins, Gulf Air Acting Chief Executive Officer Mr. Maher Salman Al Musallam said, "I’m delighted to see Gulf Air recognized yet again for their achievements. By continuously improving our information technology services, Gulf Air, as an airline, becomes progressively better equipped to provide an enhanced service to our passengers while, in tandem, boosting our internal efficiencies."

In 2015, the airline successfully rolled out its new generation iPad Electronic Flight Bags (EFBs), thereby eliminating the need for paper-based manuals and procedures and going electronic to further improve flight operations and achieve major cost-savings.
