Energy minister meets Cheniere chairman

Manama, Nov.6 (BNA): Energy Minister Dr. Abdulhussain bin Ali Mirza met Cheniere Energy Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Charif Souki and discussed cooperation in the sectors of oil and gas. He stressed Bahrain’s keenness on benefiting from the expertise which Cheniere Energy gained in developing innovative liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) related-businesses in the United States of America. The accompanying Chieniere Energy delegation and National Oil and Gas Holding Company Chief Executive Officer Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa and Dr. Dawood Naseef attended the meeting. Souki highlighted the issues which were discussed, stressing the importance of such meetings which provide an opportunity to consolidate cooperation in the sectors of LNG-related industry and commerce.
