Reinforcing Bahrain-US cooperation discussed

Manama , Nov 5 (BNA): Information, Shura and Representatives Affairs Minister Isa bin Abdulrahman Al Hammadi stressed that the Kingdom of Bahrain is a regional model of tolerance and peaceful coexistence among all religions, sects and cultures. It is also a model of the respect for human rights and religious freedoms in the framework of the leading democratic and development march led by HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. This came as the minister today received Ambassador William Roebuck of the United States to Bahrain. The minister hailed the strategic partnership between the two countries at the political and economic levels. The parties underlined keenness to promote regional and international security and stability through the active participation in the global coalition to counter terrorism. Ways to reinforce cooperation and the exchange of expertise in all area, chiefly media sector were discussed in the meeting, as well as regional and international topics of joint interest. The US Ambassador underscored his country's resolve to boost the development march in Bahrain and bolstering bilateral relations in the interest of the two countries and their people.
