GCC Chief hails Interior Ministry

Riyadh, Nov.5 (BNA): Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary-General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani hailed the Ministry of Interior for busting the terrorist network and thwarting criminal designs to subvert Bahrain's security and stability. He paid tribute to the security agencies which succeeded in smashing the heinous network, arresting forty-seven terrorists and seizing a range of high-grade explosives, bomb-making materials and weapons. "The cache of weapons reflects the criminal mindset of those evil-minded people and instigators who are plotting to spark chaos and terrorize innocent civilians in Bahrain", he said. Dr. Al-Zayani condemned Iranian groups which are continuously aiding and abetting terrorist cells to subvert Bahrain's security and stability. "These desperate terrorist attempts are doomed to failure", he said, paying tribute to the security agencies for their alertness and dedication in defending Bahrain's security and stability. In a statement today, he affirmed the GCC states' unwavering stance in support of Bahrain, backing all measures to protect its security and stability.
