British commitment to Bahrain, GCC stressed

Manama, Nov.2 (BNA): A British parliamentary delegation headed by MP Sir Alan Duncan visited the Kingdom of Bahrain to attend the 11th Manama Dialogue, which opened on October 30 and concluded yesterday. The delegation commended the forum as a platform that reflects the atmosphere of openness and tolerance which reigns in Bahrain. The delegation hailed the symposium as evidence confirming Bahrain's ability to host such international events which promote dialogue to consolidate regional and international security and stability. Sir Alan Duncan lauded the Government's role in promoting development, stressing the joint commitment and efforts exerted by the UK and Bahrain for the sake of the progress and stability of Bahrain and the whole region. He pointed out the beginning of work on the British marine facilities in Bahrain which, he said, reflects the UK commitment to the Kingdom and the GCC member states, stressing good bilateral bonding the two friendly countries.
