Social partnership in decision-making highlighted

Manama , Nov 2 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa underlined the government's keenness to meet the development requirements that contribute to uplifting the citizens' living standards in line with the royal directives aimed at investing the available national resources to achieve a strong economy capable of supporting the development march. This came as HRH Prime Minister received, today at the Gudaibiya Palace, Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh and a number of members of Representatives and Shura councils, in the presence of former Speaker Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Dhahrani and senior Bahraini officials. HRH Premier stressed that the current situation in some countries in the region has become a source of concern, as some Arab people today have become homeless and forced to migrate due to the deteriorating situation in their countries. He noted the need for the international cooperation to shelter the same and to find a way out of this problem that led to the existing of this deteriorating security and humanitarian situation. HRH Premier said that similar plots, which targeted destabilizing the security and stability of some countries in the region, were meant to be carried out in our country, but the citizens' vigilance and rallying behind the leadership those evil plots have been foiled. He affirmed that the government continues to promote the social partnership in decision-making in terms of granting citizens the priority as a key element in the programs and plans aimed at providing a decent life.
