HM the King receives Annual Audit Report 2014/2015

Manama , Nov 2 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, today in Al-Sakhir Palace, received National Audit Office (NAO)'s President Hassan Khalifa Al-Jalahma, who submitted the 2014/2015 Annual Audit Report. HM the King lauded the NAO contribution to improve the performance of the ministries and government institutions in the interest of the homeland and citizen. HM the King pointed out the outstanding efforts and progress made by the NAO's president and staff with respect to preserving public money, achieving credibility, independence and transparency. The NAO's Chief, following meeting with HM the King, said that he submitted the 2014/2015 Annual Audit Report in according with Article 19 of NAO Statute. He added the Annual Audit Report contains key observations and recommendations the NAO reached through the financial, administrative and performance work accomplished during the year 2014/2015. He noted the development witnessed by NAO, thanks to the support of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
