HM King meets US Deputy State Secretary

Manama, Oct.31 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa received at Gudaibiya Palace US Deputy Secretary of State Antony Blinken on the occasion of his participation in the IISS Manama Dialogue 2015. HM the King and the US official reviewed deep-rooted historic relations and steadily-growing cooperation in all fields. He reiterated Bahrain's keenness on bolstering bilateral relations and expanding cooperation and coordination for the sake of the interests of the two friendly countries and peoples. He commended the pivotal role of the United States of America as well as support to international efforts which aim at consolidating security and stability in the region. Blinken expressed thanks to HM the King for hosting the important forum which addresses regional and international security and political issues. He commended good relations of cooperation between the two friendly countries, affirming his country's commitment towards the Kingdom of Bahrain.
