Bahrain-Lebanon security coordination discussed

Manama, Oct. 30 (BNA): Interior Minister, Lt-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received his Lebanese counterpart Nouhad Machnouk on Friday, in the presence of the Chief of Public Security, Major-General Tariq Al Hassan and the General Director of Interior Ministry Court, Major-General Eng. Riyadh Eid Abdullah. He welcomed his counterpart, hailing the strong relations between the two friendly countries and their dedication to developing joint work in facing regional and international security challenges, especially fighting terrorism. The Lebanese minister conveyed the greetings of the Lebanese Prime Minister Tammam Salam and his best wishes for more growth and prosperity to Bahrain. He expressed sincere condolences over the martyrdom of Bahraini servicemen while participating in the Arab coalition to protect the legitimacy in Yemen. He also offered condolences over the martyrs of duty among policemen. The meeting discussed coordination and cooperation between the two countries and topics of common interest. The Lebanese Minister is visiting Bahrain to participate in the 11th edition of the Manama Dialogue that commenced on Friday.
